Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Kahayan River drainage in southern Borneo, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 11-13; Vertebrae: 34-35. Body uniformly dark, lacking pale spots or patches; eye diameter 16.7-18.2% HL and adipose-fin base length 24.9-26.6% SL (Ref. 75167). Description: dorsal fin with spinelet, spine and 7 rays; anal fin with iv,7, iv,8 or v,8 rays; pectoral fin with I,5i, I,6 or I,6i rays; pelvic fin with i5 rays (Ref. 75167).
