Description: Characterized by red with darker red scale margins, white leading edge on soft dorsal, anal, pelvic and caudal fins; apex of soft dorsal and anal fins with blackish blotch; opercular membrane blackish; third and fourth anal spines about equal in length; axil of pectoral fins without small scales; very narrow interorbital, 5.7-6.0 in head length; body depth 2.1-2.2 in SL (Ref. 90102). |
