Family:  Moringuidae (Worm or spaghetti eels)
Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Christmas Island, Philippines and Indonesia. Also recorded from China (questionable record).
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 110. Description: Characterized by its brownish color dorsally, grading to white ventrally; pectoral fin length about 5-7 in HL; body depth about 37-44 in TL; HL 9-11 in TL; around 69 lateral-line pores anterior to anus (Ref. 90102).
