Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: known from one specimen taken off the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 110; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 94. Darker above, pale below (Ref. 6605).
Biology:  Pelagic juvenile phase (Ref. 58452).
