Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Diagnosis: This species is characterized by a long snout pointed at its extremity, interorbital space 3.3-3.6 times in head length and 41-44 scales on the lateral line (Ref. 114102).
Description: Two pairs of barbels, the anterior barbel a bit shorter than posterior barbel; posterior barbel 1.25-1.50 times in eye diameter (Ref. 114102). Dorsal fin with 3 unbranched rays and 7-8 branched rays; anal fin with 3 unbranched rays and 5 branched rays (Ref. 114102). Number of scales on the lateral line 41-44 (Ref. 114102).
Colouration: The colouration is brownish or greyish dorsally, white or yellowish ventrally (Ref. 114102). |
