This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following characters: D VI, pelvic-fin rays 7, pectoral-fin rays 23-24; distance between the inner sphenotic spines (ISP) 48.6-56.7% HL. Colouration: body brown, peritoneum with dark pigmentation, and reticulate pattern on the floor of the mouth (Ref. 131498). |
