Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 38 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: off Somalia and southwest of La Digue, Seychelles; also known from the Western Central Pacific (Ref. 42915).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Pelvic fins without a frenum; caudal fin broadly rounded (Ref. 45340). Uniformly orange (Ref. 10685).
