Biology: |
Stenotopic (Ref. 42182). Found mainly over flat muddy bottoms (Ref. 42182, 46829). At some collection sites a variety of shells were found over the floor in low density (Ref. 42182, 52921). Presence is given away by numerous holes in the bottom (Ref. 42182, 46829). These have a diameter of about 1 cm and are about 12 cm deep; diet consists of zooplankton and other small invertebrates encountered while digging (Ref. 46829). |
