Max. size:  11.2 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 100 - 1320 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: from about 20°N to 15°S, and the Gulf of California (Ref. 31442).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-15; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 17-20; Vertebrae: 35-38
Biology:  Mesopelagic (Ref. 31442). Oviparous, with planktonic eggs and larvae (Ref. 31442). Shallow depth of 100 m taken from Ref. 51600.
