depth 2.7-3.6 in SL; upper profile without notch anterodorsal to upper margin of upper eye; snout rounded; pectoral fin length of ocular side 9.5-12.4 in SL and about half of HL; the upper jaw is shorter than lower eye diameter; teeth on lower jaw of the blind side in 1-2 rows; dorsal fin beginning behind posterior nostril of blind side, the first two rays of the dorsal fin detached from other rays of the fin, no rays are prolonged; dorsal-fin pterigiophores shorter than or as long as neural spines of first four caudal vertebrae; D 105-112, A 81-93, pectoral-fin rays on ocular-side 13-15, on blind-side 10-14, lateral line scales 88-103, gill rakers 1-4 + 5-10, vertebrae 11 + 40–42 (Ref. 126083). |
