Distribution:  Africa: drainage basins of the Cuanza (Ref. 2801, 7248, 120641) and Cunene river systems of Angola and Namibia (Ref. 2801, 7248, 120641). Unconfirmed record from the Congo basin (Ref. 1440, 120641).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Prefers flowing water in rocky habitats (Ref. 7248).
