Inhabits main channels, pools, backwaters of small to large rivers, lakes, and impoundments (Ref. 86798). Feeds on cladocera and cyclopoid copepods supplemented with midge larvae (Ref. 10294). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Prefers water with depth of less than 5 m (Ref. 121623). |
