Max. size:  8.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Oceania: endemic to Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur in freshwater and estuarine habitats. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Brood pouch may be developed at 7.85 cm SL.
