Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Nabugabo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found both close inshore and some distance out, over muddy and sandy bottoms in bays, and over clear sandy beaches (Ref. 4983). Is an omnivorous bottom feeder which preys mainly on insect larvae (esp. chironomids and trichopterans) (Ref. 558).
