Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  4.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 3 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from the Andaman Sea eastward to southern Japan and south through Indonesia, New Guinea and northern Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Cryptic inhabitant of sand-rubble bottom next to reefs in 3-20 m (Ref, 90102).
