Biology: |
Breeding stock in the Weddell Sea consisted of individuals larger than 20 cm SL. Adults feed mainly on pelagic crustaceans: Euphausia superba, Hyperiella antarctica, Euphausia crystallorophias and other amphipods (Ref. 5192). Larval pelagic phase is long (Ref. 41551). |
