Adults occur in swamps, sloughs, vegetated pools, and backwaters of sluggish creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 5723, 10294). Feed primarily on insects (Ref. 10294). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139). |
