Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 800 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Papua New Guinea (Ref. 6993) and Indonesia (Ref. 5978). Reported from the Hawaiian Islands (Ref. 58302).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mesopelagic species (Ref. 559, 75154). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018. Also Ref. 58302.
