Max. size:  16.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 0 - 200 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Western Sahara south to Angola. Western Atlantic: scattered records from the Gulf of Mexico and west of 45°W between 41°N-9°N. Also, Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Mesopelagic species (Ref. 75154).
