Max. size:  2.48 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 20 - 30 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Korean Peninsula and the Yellow Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 21-24. This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: absence of spiny tubercles or fleshy papillae on body; anterior one to three mandibular pores each have a short barbel-like tube; no interorbital pore; presence of suborbital pore; opercular flap is triangular; no papillae on ventral disk; caudal-fin is long, 32.7-42.1% of SL (Ref. 115553).
