Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 2 years
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found only in the middle and upper Green River drainage in Kentucky and Tennessee, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit rocky pools of headwaters, creeks and small rivers (Ref. 5723). Adults feed on midge and blackfly larvae, copepods and cladocerans, and immature mayflies and caddisflies (Ref. 10294).
