Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 5 - 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: lower OgoouĂ© (Ref. 47774, 80395), Komo, Nyanga (Ref. 80395), Kango, Nianaga and other coastal rivers of Gabon (Ref. 47774). Lower Kouilou and Loeme in Republic of Congo (Ref. 47774, 80395). Marine lower Congo and Loango in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 47774). Chiloango in Cabinda enclave of Angola (Ref. 47774, 80395, 120641). Also in Equatorial Guinea (Ref. 47774).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small river, brooks and swamps in the coastal rainforest and forested savannah (Ref. 47774). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139). Maximum length presumed to be TL.
