Cyphomyrus aelsbroecki (Poll, 1945)

Max. size:  8.6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: only known from Elisabethville [= Lubumbashi] in a tributary of Luapula River, in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 3203, 42478).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal fin is much longer than anal fin and clearly originates in front of the insertion level of the anal fin; posterior end of dorsal fin just posterior to that of the anal fin (Ref. 122874).
