Description: Characterized by male having orange red color anteriorly grading to crimson or purple posteriorly with fine, blue scale margins; female having purplish grey on head grading to brown or reddish posteriorly; cheek with blue-margined orange bar; anterodorsal portion of body with dark blue scale margins; anterior lateral-line scales 24-31; depth of body 26.9-30.6 % of SL (Ref. 90102). |
