Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 10 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Senegal to Angola.
Diagnosis:  Diagnosis: ctenoid scales on both sides of body; 9-10 caudal fin rays; 11-12 transversal scales between the mid-lateral line and the margino-dorsal lateral line (Ref. 81682).
Biology:  Found on sand and mud bottoms of coastal waters (Ref. 2683).
