Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Queensland to central New South Wales, Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 12-12
Biology:  Found in estuaries and harbors, very shallow oyster zones, usually under rocks or nearby on mud (Ref. 9002).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 26 August 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
