Biology: |
A short-lived species. Adults inhabit marshlands, lowland water courses, springs and associated wetlands (Ref. 26100) with still to moderately flowing clear shallow waters and mud to silt bottom (Ref. 59043). Oviparous, possibly with distinct pairing during breeding similar to congeners (Ref. 205). Population is threatened due to very restricted area of occurrence (Ref. 59043). |
