Environment:  demersal; freshwater; depth range 0 - 2 m
Distribution:  Asia: Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Abundant in the main channel of Reifafeif River, over rocks or boulders. Forms midwater aggregations to feed on algae and small invertebrates, mainly insects (Ref. 26386).
