Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 150 - 2500 m
Distribution:  Circumglobal in the southern parts of the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific, and the Southern Ocean. High Seas only.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in the meso- to bathypelagic zones (Ref. 82429).
