This species is distinguished by the following characters: gill rakers of the first gill arch 14-18; pseudobranch filaments 21-25; ratio of HL to UJOL 1.36-1.48 and to UJBL 1.39-1.51; ratio of HL to LJOL 1.04-1.11 and to LJBL 1.04-1.10; posterior flap of anterior-nostril on blind side does not extend to base of posterior nostril; anterior part of ocular side of body with small yellow blotches (Ref. 119609). |
