Max. size:  7.9 cm SL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 75 - 700 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: off Simushir Island (Kuril Islands) and off Umnak Island (Alaska) in the Bering Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 42-45; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 36-39; Vertebrae: 46-49. Pectoral fin slightly notched; ends of dorsal and anal fins forming notches on caudal fin; caudal fin rounded, stout, and broad (Ref. 12700). Uniformly red (Ref. 12700).
