Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  2.45 cm SL (male/unsexed); 2.35 cm SL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 120 - 400 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific. Seychelles, Gulf of Aqaba and Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 8-8. This species is distinguished by the following characters: pectoral-fin rays 17; scales on nape; median predorsal scales 8-9; body depth 4.4-5.1 in SL (Ref. 94146).
