Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 7 - 14 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Fiji.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 98-103; Anal soft rays: 77-79; Vertebrae: 43-44. The species is distinguished by its yellow-green coloration; narrower eye than the interorbital width; 98-103 dorsal-fin rays; 77-79 anal-fin rays; 24 pectoral-fin rays; 43-44 vertebrae; 2-3 developed gill-rakers; a fleshy interorbital width of less than 4.5% SL; orbit diameter 3.5% SL or less (Ref. 58267).
