Family:  Ariidae (Sea catfishes), subfamily: Ariinae
Max. size:  60 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Eastern Thailand and throughout Borneo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in inshore and turbid brackish waters and tidal reaches of rivers (Ref. 38478). Probably feeding on mollusks or thick-shelled crustaceans (Ref. 38478).
