Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 0 - 1, non-migratory
Distribution:  South America: Mamoré-Guaporé River basin in Bolivia and Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139). In shallow water between plants (Ref. 30870).
