Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mae Khlong River drainage in Thailand.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6-6; Anal soft rays: 13-14; Vertebrae: 39-41. Body with mottled pattern of small irregular dark brownish-grey patches. Posterior edge of adipose fin pointed; length of adipose-fin base 19.9-22.8% SL; dorsal to adipose distance 23.8-26.7% SL. Body depth at anus 12.6-14.1% SL; eye small, dorsolaterally situated and subcutaneous, diameter 5.3-6.9% HL; 39-41 vertebrae, forked caudal fin (Ref. 37785).
Biology:  Collected from streams with moderate to swift water, usually shallow (about 20-40 cm deep), over a large gravel to stone substrate (Ref. 37785).
