Max. size:  20 cm (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Africa: Madagascar and Comoro Islands (Ref. 92079).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit freshwaters, but may occur in estuaries (Ref. 2830). Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
