Remarks Found in subtidal rocky to sandy areas (Ref. 2850). Benthic; feeds on crustaceans and worms (Ref. 58426). Preyed upon by cod, Greenland halibut and Atlantic cod. Parasite of the species is known to be acanthocephalan (Ref. 5951).
