Remarks Pelagic species which occurs in inshore waters of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154). Dwells in coral and rocky reefs. Juveniles tend to be found in sandy bays. Sub-adults tend to form shoals. Feeds on shrimps, mysids, small fishes and squids (Ref. 9773).
