Remarks Inhabits outer parts of the continental shelves and the upper parts of these slopes (Ref. 37343). Widely distributed in the western Atlantic Ocean, at depths greater than 350 m (Ref. 54164). Commonly preyed upon by Pagrus pagrus at 50 -120 m depth (Ref. 58735).
