Remarks Inhabits inshore and coastal waters (Ref. 3490). Carnivorous feeder. Feeds mainly on Acetes spp., penaeid prawns, deep-sea prawns, fishes, stomatopods, molluscs, isopods, copepods and fish larvae (Ref. 53464). Teleost fishes were present in the stomach of fish of 15 cm size and above (Ref. 53464).
