Remarks Schooling species which occurs in inshore waters of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154). Feeds on fish and crustaceans (Ref. 55). Dwells in shallow coral reefs. Demersal. Feeds on benthic invertebrates, crustaceans and small fishes. Forms large schools of 100 individuals or more (Ref. 9773).
