Remarks Occurred in the 500-1250 m bathymetric zones but principally in the 750-1000 m zones (Ref. 34143). Found on the continental slope (Ref. 75154). Epibenthic (Ref. 58426). Food consists of free-living small animals, such as crustaceans and squids. This species is reportedly being caught by trawl in temperate waters of Australia (Ref. 9563).
