Remarks Inhabits rocky areas of swift creeks and rivers. Also found in lakes. Probably feeds on planktonic crustaceans and aquatic insect larvae (Ref. 1998). Forage fish of Salvelinus namaycush and Lota lota found in inland lakes (Ref. 1998).
