Remarks Found on the continental shelf, generally near the coast but also in deeper waters; penetrated estuaries. Juveniles are often found in estuarine waters. Feeds mainly on silver-colored fishes, but also takes squids, shrimps and other invertebrates. Piscivore (Ref. 57615).
