Remarks |
The 'andigise' is a sorcerer fish. It talks, in the middle of the night, they come in groups and pass. There is no fish bigger than it (Mamadou Bakary Sakho). It has the same form as a 'daawa'. They have the same head and skin. But the barbels are bigger, thick as fingers, than those of the 'daawa' which are longer though. It is a fish which does not feed. Often, when fishers do not know how to get it out of the water when it bites the hook, they let it go because it resists capture (Demba Traoré). |
