 Brood fish are placed in large circular fibreglass tanks supplied with running seawater.

 Description of Nutrient input
 Larvae are fed by adding a culture of the phytoplankton @Isochrysis galbani@ for a couple of days. Rotifers are then added to their diet after which @Artemia@ enhanced by synthetic food called Super Cellco. A succession of formulated diets is then added to the food. Three times a week, brood stock are fed a varied diet of herring and squid.
