Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Specimens were collected in February 2005 in a slowly flowing creek which was only 20 to 50 cm deep; the water was clear and slightly tanned, bed covered densely with leaf litter; water data pH 6.3, 82 µS/cm and 25.5°C. From another creek, where the species was collected, pH 6.5, 69 µS/cm and 26.6 °C (Ref. 78499).

Estimates of some properties based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82805):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01122 (0.00514 - 0.02450), b=3.04 (2.87 - 3.21), based on all LWR estimates for this body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic Level (Ref. 69278):  3.1   ±0.4 se; Based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref. 69278):  High, minimum population doubling time less than 15 months (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100) .
