Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal soft rays (total): 280-319; Anal soft rays: 232 - 256. Body leaf-like, very deep and compressed. Head relatively small, strongly compressed. Snout short and acutely pointed. Jaws strong and beak-like; upper jaw reaching tip of lower jaw. Caudal fin rounded (Ref. 37502).
