Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 19 - 21; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-11; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 9 - 10. This species distinguished from T. centisquama in having a lower number of longitudinal scales (74-89 versus 113-129) and in having asymmetrical pectoral fins (versus nearly symmetrical fin) (Ref. 46528).
